Other than issues with our ISP (read Insufficient Service Provided), I have had next to nothing to say. My mental blankness has a patina of seething resentment toward my current obligations, but then that's nothing new.
I have more marking to do, I want to be drawing pictures, my back is playing up, it's cold in Melbourne, and the wind was so bad yesterday it blew my beanie off my head. Which I didn't think was possible, but when it comes to meteorological feats of impossibility, Melbourne wins every time.
So other than an argument between SO and myself at how long one should stay on the toilet for which then swerved into a debate about 'should' and 'need to' and experiencing joy that there are finally Zero Punctuation t-shirts to be purchased, it really is business as usual.
I see my page views near 2,000, which is quite pleasing. Then I look at someone's page who's had a gazillion views and my milestone seems rather grey in comparison. That these people are a)better artists and b)more prolific is besides the point. Nevertheless, I will have a piece of celebratory art to mark my weedy occasion when it hits.
